More web-series (real stories) about greed and a gullible society 😊 Inventing Anna – Came out in 2022.   In Inventing Anna, a journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York's social scene and stole their money as well. Anna and the reporter form a dark funny love-hate bond as Anna awaits trial and our reporter fights the clock to answer the biggest question in NYC: who is Anna Delvey? The series is inspired by the New York Magazine article "How Anna Delvey Tricked New York's Party People" by Jessica Pressler, who also serves as a producer. One of the reviews from IMDB... 227. Muktinath Trip

My mother was constantly telling me to visit this place before I get older 😊 !  She had gone to this place some 3-4 years back with my uncle and wanted me also to visit this place.  So, I had put it in my bucket list as one of the places to visit.  Since I had already made a trip to Kashmir early this year, I thought of making this trip next year. My school friend, Subbu, also wanted to accompany me, whenever I took this trip.  During the first and second week of April, he mentioned about this twice during our regular phone calls.  That made me want to get more details on this trip, regarding the logistics and time period involved.  I browsed in Google and looked at various options of going about on this trip, from Hyderabad.  I came across a site and liked what I saw regarding the cost, places that would be shown, the time period and the fact that all food would be included.  I called them and they sent me a quite a detailed itinerary for a 7-day, 6-night package.  The all-inclusiv

More docu-series and web-series! Lucy and Desi – Came out in 2022. This film will explore the rise of comedian icon Lucille Ball, her relationship with Desi Arnaz, and how their groundbreaking sitcom I Love Lucy forever changed Hollywood, cementing her legacy long after her death in 1989. One of the reviews from IMDB... Greetings again from the darkness. Since it is arriving on the heels of Aaron Sorkin's dramatized BEING THE RICARDOS (2021), it's tempting to view this documentary as if a professor is grading his work ... or at least fact-checking. However, Sorkin's film, which resulted in Oscar nominations for Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, and JK Simmons, was based on a snapshot in time (and even took some liberties with that), while this first documentary from Amy Poehler takes a much wider lens to the life and career of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. An elite comedian herself, Ms. Poehler's obvious admiration

More Documentary reviews… Capturing the Friedmans – Came out in 2003.  Documentary on the Friedmans, a seemingly typical, upper-middle-class Jewish family whose world is instantly transformed when the father and his youngest son are arrested and charged with shocking and horrible crimes. One of the reviews from IMDB... In 1987, Great Neck, Long Island, a comfortable upper middle class town, was rocked when Arnold Friedman, a respected high school teacher and his 18-year old son, Jessie were arrested on charges of molestation, rape, and sodomy against young boys to whom they taught computer classes in their basement. The documentary Capturing the Friedmans is a dark and disturbing look at the Friedman family (Arnold, sons David, Jessie, Seth and their mother Elaine) that compels us to sift through the ambiguous evidence and determine for ourselves the question of their guilt or innocence. "It's a combination of different versions of different stories", says first-time
