More web-series reviews…   This is Going to Hurt – Came out in 2022. Set on labour Ward with all its hilarity and heart-lifting highs but also its gut-wrenching lows, the show delivers a brutally honest depiction of life as a junior doctor on the wards, and the toll the job can take back home. One of the reviews from IMDB... Film buffs will remember Gone With the Wind and the tearful pronouncement, "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies, Miss Scarlett," from the black servant girl Prissy as she lazily strolls home with no Doctor to find Miss Melanie in full advanced labour and is told by Scarlet that she'll have to deliver the baby. Well, after watching many episodes of Call the Midwife and now 7 episodes of this new gritty but also humorous drama series starring a favourite British Actor of mine Ben Whishaw in There Will Be Pain my knowledge of the joy and pain of childbirth has increased

James Whitehouse (Rupert Friend) is a member of the cabinet, and friend of the Prime Minister, with whom he went to (private) school. More web-series reviews… Why didn’t they ask Evans – Came out in 2022.  Another Agatha Christie novel remake. A dying man's enigmatic last words send vicar's son, Bobby Jones, and his socialite friend, Lady Frankie Derwent, on a crime-solving adventure. One of the reviews from IMDB... I don't understand the complaints here. I found this one of the most satisfying Christie adaptations. In fact I watched it twice, more or less back to back. There's a lightness of touch and a wry amusement that I find refreshing compared to the older versions, which take themselves, and the story, so seriously. This is just a delightful caper. Again, contrary to others, I think the leads have great chemistry and Lucy Boynton is particularly charming. Daniel Ings is a deliciously seductive villain and Jonathan Jules a great cheeky partner-in-crime. Can't really fault any of the other casting either. Would have been nice to see

More web-series reviews… The Offer – Came out in 2022.  Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy's never-before-revealed experiences of making The Godfather (1972). One of the reviews from IMDB... This series is done with so much love and reverence for the film that it's impossible not to like if you loved The Godfather, and who doesn't like that movie? After a single episode, I was all in. It's the perfect mix of great acting, good story, and a fun script. I was dubious about this when I saw the trailer, but my doubts were gone almost from the beginning of episode one. The movie was larger than life, so a series about how the film came to be was definitely worth a shot. I may come back and change this initial euphoria, but for now, this is one of the best things I've seen in a long while. I mean, come on! It's a series about the making of the most epic gangster movie and one of the best films ever made, and it has gangsters in it. What more could any

More web-series reviews… Gullak 3 – Came out in 2022.  One of the reviews from Desimartini... When I watched the first season of Gullak, it took me back to the good old simple days where we found happiness in smaller things. It was easy to miss their big problems because each episode came with a happy ending, which left you with a smile and overshadowed the issues of this middle-class family. Well, the Mishra parivaar is back with season 3 and while they are still as entertaining as the previous seasons, life has become tougher for them. But with bigger problems, we get even more interesting stories which prove that the greatest strength of this family is not money but their love for each other. Read on to know why Gullak 3 is a must watch. Season 3 begins where season 2 ended-- after emerging as the topper of his school Aman, portrayed by Harsh Mayar, is now gearing up for 11th standard whereas Annu, played by Vaibhav Raj G
