More web-series reviews… Aranyak – Came out in 2021.  After a foreign teenage tourist disappears in a misty town, a harried, local cop Kasturi must join hands with her city-bred replacement Angad, on a big-ticket case that digs up skeletons and revives a forgotten myth of a bloodthirsty, serial killing entity in the forest.   One of the reviews from IMDB... As opposed to widespread expectations, the show commences on a somewhat timid note. At the introductory phases, I was neither convinced about its efficacy nor was I very fond of its rather estranged way of presentation. Thankfully, as the story unfolds; I gradually and then eventually reached a point where I could say with much certainty that I'm pretty impressed with what they had in their offerings. More web-series reviews… The White Lotus – Set in a tropical resort, it follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.  Came out in 2021. One of the reviews from IMDB... "HBO" has once again done it and produced a limited hit series this time "The White Lotus" from Mike White("Enlightened"). And you can best sum this up as a dark comedy, and journey type drama a spin and showcase of the well to do as it shows that all of the characters live far from perfect lives and each have skeletons in the closet and personal ego issues. More web-series reviews… Mumbai Diaries 26/11 – Mumbai Diaries is a medical thriller set in the Emergency Room of a hospital. The series explores the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital as well as other first responders across the city of Mumbai in dealing with a crisis of immense magnitude. In this battle to save lives and heal others, the ones doing the fixing are the most broken. One of the reviews from IMDB… Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is an intense and engaging fictionalised medical drama on the Mumbai terror attack. The writers waste no time to set an arresting premise and show the urgency in the life of frontline workers, emergency doctors, and other hospital staff. The makers have not just limited the story to the terror attacks but also involve human relationships. More web-series reviews… Zone Blanche (Black Spot) – Came out in 2107. French web-series. 2 seasons. Villefranche is a small town without phone reception on the edge of a mysterious forest. The number of inhabitants is dwindling but there's a sharp rise in crime. Police inspector Laurène, once the victim of a crime herself, keeps on discovering fresh corpses. One of the reviews from IMDB... This French series is set in Villefranche, a remote village where the crime rate in noticeably higher than the national average. As the story begins prosecutor Franck Siriani arrives in town to investigate what is going on; he finds himself working with Major Laurène Weiss of the local Gendarmerie and her small team. They are very different characters; Siriani is allergic to just about everything and Weiss is a tough woman who, when eighteen, cut off two fingers to escape after being chained up, in the vast forest that surrounds the to
