83 - When “inspired” music turned out to be better than the original

In the recent times, any musician who tries to copy or get inspired by another song and makes a composition under his name, is quickly found out and is always at a loss to explain why he did it!!   Earlier too music directors have wantonly got inspired by other works and had made suitable adjustments to create Hindi songs.   During the time when Internet was not available, it was difficult to find out the source of the Hindi music as people did not use to bother about such things.   That made the music directors scout different countries for various music and fine tune it to be recomposed to be known as their own music. In this blog, I will be mentioning about the various “inspirational” sources accessed by RD Burman to give us some hummable and memorable Hindi songs.   Mind you, he was a great composer and has given us so many hits.   Although, most of his “inspirations” have done better than the originals ๐Ÿ˜Š That’s my opinion!! 82 - Mistakes spotted in these Ads

Nowadays there are so many ads that I think the makers of these ads do not check if there are any mistakes in the ads!!   Maybe they don’t get any time in between shooting multiple ads that they make do with whatever they have shot.   Maybe some of the makers take viewers for granted and just shoot the ads without proper editing!!   In one of my previous blogs too, I had pointed out some mistakes in some other ads.   Here are some more of them with links for you to check the ad too!! The first is of the Havell’s water purifier ad.   This ad tells us not to drink acidic water and drinking their machine’s water instead!!   In one of the segments in the ad, a postman comes to the house and the little girl in the house brings a glass of water for the postman to drink.   This is normal.   When the announcer in the ad says that the water is acidic and we have various people spitting out the water, in the postman segment, the house lady also is seen spitting the water ๐Ÿ˜Š.   The little

81 - Delightful Kishore Kumar Hindi Songs

As already indicated earlier, for me Kishore Kumar was the best singer ever, period ๐Ÿ˜Š He brings such craziness in his songs, while singing or enacting himself on the screen, that you can keep on seeing these songs umpteen number of times and still find it very funny!!   Here are a few collections of his songs that fit this category!!   Hope you too would find it funny and enjoyable!! Tak Dhin Tak from Khalifa (1976) – The first time I head this song was as a kid at my cousin’s place in a gramophone record.   Kishore teams up with Manna Dey and creates a memorable song!!   Even though the film did not do well and not many people would have listened to this song, this a completely zany song with the usual Kishore antics.   Whatever is said in this song is true even in the current times!! Randhir Kapoor and I S Johar enact this song.   I saw this song only while writing this blog.   Listening to the song is much more enjoyable than seeing it ๐Ÿ˜Š . There is also this line in this so
