More web-series reviews… All these series released in 2021. The Squid Game – A story of people who fail at life for various reasons, but suddenly receive a mysterious invitation to participate in a survival game to win more than 38 million US dollars. The game takes place at an isolated island and the participants are locked up until there is a final winner. The story will incorporate popular children's games from the 1970s and 1980s of Korea, such as squid game, literal translation of its Korean name, which is a type of tag where offense and defense use a squid-shaped board drawn in the dirt. No. 1 series in Netflix till recently 😊 ! One of the reviews from IMDB... So, Squid Game has taken over the world these last few weeks and I thought that I had to watch it and I have now finished it and here is my review for it. The premise of the show sees a large group of down on their luck Koreans assembled to play childhood games with a deadly twist for a huge cash prize. Main

More web-series reviews…   World’s Most Wanted – Heinous criminals have avoided capture despite massive rewards and global investigations. This docuseries profiles five of the world's most wanted. One of the reviews from IMDB... Netflix has raised the bar for its docuseries so high, that other decent releases go under the radar. Fortunately for me, I saw the trailer and had immediately saved it in my list because I had seen Don't F*ck with Cats and liked it. It's the same team. So this isn't as crisp as other series' and I think this is one of those documentary that could've used a little recreation for dramatic effects because the characters they chose to interview .. some of them are little dramatic. Another thing they could've done better is to show us more about the criminal's past life because they choose to pursue all these most wanteds after their heinous crimes. We are taken through the journey of what they did, how they fled and little

More web-series reviews…   The next 2 web-series are from the same director 😊 – Mike Flanagan.  Another web-series of his is The Haunting of Bly Manor (Released in 2020).  I did not see it as the reviews were not that great and the horror content was less 😊 !! The Haunting of Hill House – Released in 2018. Explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past, some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House. One of the reviews from IMDB... To tell the bare truth, The Haunting of Hill House is a gem. It hooks you from episode 1 and never let you go, gripping you tight, wrapping itself around you like an anaconda and making your mouth gaped open, breathless. The writing and

More web-series reviews… River – River is a six-part British television drama series, premiered in 2015. The series is a police procedural but Detective Inspector John River is suffering from guilt after the killing of his partner, who appears as a ghost, a figment of River's hallucination. John River is a brilliant police inspector whose genius lies side-by-side with the fragility of his mind. He is a man haunted by the murder victims whose cases he must lay to rest. One season of 6 episodes only. One of the reviews from IMDB... Boy did this show take me by surprise. All I can say is don't miss it. It's so much more than a detective series and Stellan SkarsgΓ₯rd gives a performance that will take your breath away. Nicola Walker is of course magnificent as well. The whole cast just puts this story together into a piece of poetry. There was a moment near the end - an unexpected moment - that touched me in a way that nothing ever has. Nothing. I burst into tears, th

195. Milk, Grocery and Vegetables ordering

Time for some more freebies 😊 !! I used to use Bigbasket’s bbdaily app for my milk subscriptions and sometimes grocery or vegetables.  The service was excellent.  Whatever I ordered today in the app, would be delivered in my doorstep the next morning by 7am.  The only drawback, they used to charge Rs 2 for each day for delivery.  Whatever you purchased for that day, Rs 2 would be added to your bill.  So, for an extra Rs 60 (or 62 or 58 or 56 depending on the month 😊 ) per month, you can avail their services without having to move out of your house.  I also had the FTH Daily’s app ( www.fthdaily.com ) which provided similar to what BBDaily was providing.  However, they did not have the variety that BBDaily offered.  But there was no delivery charge.  You just paid what was mentioned in the app.  Also, they only service Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune.  Recently, due to competition with Milkbasket, they have come out with an offer.  You add Rs 100 to their wallet, they will also add
