408. Jaate Tey Japan, Pahunch Gaye Cheen, Samajh Gaye Naa😊!!

The incident that happened last week, remined me of this line from the song of Kishore Kumar’s Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, where going for something, I ended up arriving at some other place 😊 ! It all started one day last week. At about 2:30am in the morning, I experienced a pain in the center of my chest.  I tried shifting to different sides of the bed to alleviate the pain, but to no avail.  I got up and walked for some time. No use. Took some water to hopefully subside the pain. Still no use. Woke up my wife. Some of the suggestions she mentioned, I had already done 😊 ! She then got me warm jeera water.  Drinking that also did not lessen the pain. She then suggested to go to the emergency section of a nearby hospital. She then woke up Jayesh and he took me to the hospital.  I told the emergency doctor about the pain and also mentioned that I had rajma chawal for lunch the earlier day and roti with rajma for dinner.  Maybe that was gas which was causing the pa...

More web-series reviews… Bosch Legacy – 3rd season came out in 2025. Supposed to be the last season.  Bosch is now making a living as a private investigator two years after he quit the LAPD and finds himself working with one time enemy and top-notch attorney Honey "Money" Chandler. Meanwhile, Bosch's daughter Maddie is venturing into the world of the LAPD. A review from IMDB... Just finished watching Season 3 and imho Legacy has gotten better. I agree with most of the consistent criticisms: The original Bosch intro was MUCH cooler than the Legacy intro, Madison Lintz is entirely unconvincing in her role as an LAPD officer. The writers pulled back on Honey Chandler's foul-mouthed characterization and her toughness is portrayed this season through actions rather than words - which was the right move. As many have pointed out, the original Bosch nimbly relied upon the supporting cast, which over time has dw...

More web-series reviews… Dupahiya – Came out in 2025.  A village prepares for its 25th anniversary of being crime-free when a prized motorbike vanishes. With a jubilee trophy, wedding, and town pride at risk, a frantic search to recover the bike before it's too late ensues. A review from IMDB... If there's one thing that's hard for Dupahiya to escape, it's the massive shadow of Panchayat. Let's face it, Panchayat was a game-changer. It set a gold standard for rural-based comedy dramas, and the expectations from any new show trying to do something similar are bound to be sky-high. Dupahiya, steps into this territory with a story set in the small village and honestly, it gives off Panchayat vibes in the first few minutes. The slow-paced, village-life charm, the ensemble cast, the small-town dynamics, it all feels familiar. But it's also quite different in its own right. It has a slightly more comedic, lighter tone, especially with its plot being more focu...

More web-series reviews…   The Marlow Murder Club – Came out in 2024. Judith, Suzie and Becks start an investigation. To assist with official police investigation, headed by Tanika, They must suspect witnesses, and face down real danger as they work against the clock to stop the killer in their tracks. A review from IMDB... A new British TV series premiered in March 2024. It follows a group of older women who form a club to investigate a series of murders in the picturesque town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. While the premise is intriguing and the cast is talented, the show ultimately falls short of its potential. The series stars Judith Potts, a retired archaeologist who becomes convinced that a murder has taken place in her neighbour's garden. When the police dismiss her claims, Judith enlists the help of local dog walker Suzie (Jo Martin), vicar's wife Becks (Cara Horgan), and DS Tanika Malik (Natalie Dew) to in...
