19 Ordering Food Online

On special occasions, earlier, people used to go out for food and enjoy outside food.  Nowadays, there are various companies available, who will ensure that the food reaches you at home, rather than you having to bear the traffic, the waiting at the restaurant and the travel before consuming your food!  Welcome to the world of ordering food online!! 

There are many companies like Swiggy, Faasos, Foodpanda, Zomato, Getmyfood and their likes, through which you can get sumptuous food delivered at your doorstep, without having to venture out yourselves.

All these companies also offer inaugural discounts for using their services.  All you need is a mobile number or get yourself registered on their website.  If you have multiple mobile numbers at your house, you can use each of the mobile to get your first “discounted” order for all the numbers😊.  And since there are various companies, you can enjoy your “discounted” food for a longer duration!!  Some of these companies also give offers for referrals.  So when you book with the second mobile number, use the referral of the first mobile number, thereby saving more!!

All these companies have tied up with various restaurants across different cities.  The restaurant’s menu is available on their website or on their App, along with the rates for the items.  You just have to select the food items that you want from the list of restaurants near your home and then add it to the Shopping Cart.  Place your order and then wait for about 30 minutes to 1 hour for your food to arrive!!  There might be an additional delivery charge applicable if the amount of your order is less than the minimum amount prescribed by these companies.

Once you are registered with these companies, you can also opt for their newsletter wherein they send special offers on a regular basis.  Using these offers, you can save money as well as escape from preparing dinner after a hectic day in the office!!

Most of these companies also have a “live” tracking facility where you can track your food, once it has been picked from the hotel of your choice.  This is actually tracking the delivery boy who is bringing you the food.

In case you have any complaints on the order, some of these companies also have an online chat facility wherein you can sort out your issues, give feedback and clarify your doubts on any information that you require.

167. Ramanarayanam Temple, Vizianagaram

This temple should be on your must-watch bucket list!  It was inaugurated in March 2014.  Not many people are aware of this temple.  I spoke to an official there as to why they are not promoting this in a big way.  He said they have a website and all the details are published there.  I believe, since most of the stuff is mentioned in Telugu language, they are not able to attract many visitors.  Although for the Hanuman 3-d laser projection show, held thrice in the evening, there is a crowd.    The temple is located on the outskirts of the Vizianagaram town. The temple is in the shape of a bow.  At the two ends of each bow, there are 2 temples, one for Ram-Lakshman-Sita and one for Vishnu.  Between the temples, shaped in the two bows, there are two galleries depicting Ramayana.  A total of 72 laminated moldings depict the entire Ramayana. 1 WhatsAppa Mantras
