The Blog Beginning!!

Hi Friends,

I am starting a blog series from next week!! This blog is a curtain raiser on that.  These blogs would contain, as the name suggest, musings from the happenings around us.  I will also be sharing some tips for some how-to-do things.  Some ways to handle and use technology.  How to track your expenses and other such tips.

You can be sure that all of them are being used by me in my day-to-day or month-by-month dealings. Rest assured that I will not ask you to do something that I don’t!!  Some of my musings may be already being used by some people.  In that case, that particular blog is meant for others and not you J.  However you may go through the same at your own leisure!!

I will make sure that you can read the blog in 5 minutes flat.  I am estimating this based on my reading speedJ!!  Anything more than this, I am sure I will lose you for the next blog!!

Those who know me, I plan to use some amount of humor in all my blogs.  Please provide feedback on the blog and in case you need me to write on something, please go ahead and ask.  I am not sure as to when it will be considered, but one day it will be J

At the end of each blog, I will end with one Daffy Definition.  Some people have got my entire pack of daffy definitions.  For them it will be a revision J

I plan to publish 3 blogs a week – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  The first three blogs are going to be on the following topics…

167. Ramanarayanam Temple, Vizianagaram

This temple should be on your must-watch bucket list!  It was inaugurated in March 2014.  Not many people are aware of this temple.  I spoke to an official there as to why they are not promoting this in a big way.  He said they have a website and all the details are published there.  I believe, since most of the stuff is mentioned in Telugu language, they are not able to attract many visitors.  Although for the Hanuman 3-d laser projection show, held thrice in the evening, there is a crowd.    The temple is located on the outskirts of the Vizianagaram town. The temple is in the shape of a bow.  At the two ends of each bow, there are 2 temples, one for Ram-Lakshman-Sita and one for Vishnu.  Between the temples, shaped in the two bows, there are two galleries depicting Ramayana.  A total of 72 laminated moldings depict the entire Ramayana. 326. Day 4 – Chitrakoot

The whole of last night Jayashree was vomiting and in the morning, we checked out and took her to a hospital.   It seems she had food poisoning from the food that we ate in the dhaba last evening in Prayag Raj.   She was put on drips and the doctor said the entire process would take 2-3 hours.   We had no other option but to stay there.   I asked Jayashree’s brother to take the car and visit the areas that we were supposed to see.   I was sufficient to be with Jayashree and they need not wait there. But he refused to go and said they will also wait with me there. In the meanwhile, I started to explore what all attractions were there in Chitrakoot.  I don’t know if we were ever going there again 😊 ! So, I thought let me see the attractions in Google. This way, I can also share the same with you, without seeing it myself 😊 !!
