144. Web-series Reviews – 15

Suits – The series was recommended by my college friend, Sunil! Suits is an American legal drama series that ran from 2011 to 2019.  It is not available in both Amazon Prime as well as Netflix. 

Suits is set at a fictional New York City law firm and follows talented college dropout Mike Ross, who starts working as a law associate for Harvey Specter despite never having attended law school. The show focuses on Harvey and Mike closing cases, while maintaining Mike's secret. The show also features the characters Louis Litt, Rachel Zane, Donna Paulsen and Jessica Pearson.

A very engaging series.  I binge watched the entire season in about 20-22 days.  Overall a total of 134 episodes😊!!  The series is very pacy and quite enjoyable. Definitely worth seeing it!!

Lincoln Rhyme – The Hunt for the Bone Collector – Lincoln Rhyme is the name of the detective of Jeffery Deaver’s books on Lincoln Rhyme series.  Lincoln Rhyme is quadriplegic forensic criminalist. However, his brain is fully functional and he helps the police department in catching the suspects.  His associates use body cameras to live-stream the crime scene for Lincoln to analyse it and solve the cases.  The web-series is based on his 1997 novel, The Bone Collector.  This is an American Crime drama series that was released early this year.

For people who have read the novels, it is a treat to watch.  For others too, the series is worth a watch.  There is one only season of 10 episodes.  The 2nd season has been cancelled.

Aarya – Hindi web-series starring Sushmita Sen.  The series is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza.  The series got released in June 2020.

Worth seeing once.  Good acting from all the participants.  Other stars include Chandrachur Singh, Jayant Kriplani and Namit Das (another actor making a splash in web-series, other than Amit Sadh!).  The story ends in the season and you don’t have to wait for the 2nd season!

167. Ramanarayanam Temple, Vizianagaram

This temple should be on your must-watch bucket list!  It was inaugurated in March 2014.  Not many people are aware of this temple.  I spoke to an official there as to why they are not promoting this in a big way.  He said they have a website and all the details are published there.  I believe, since most of the stuff is mentioned in Telugu language, they are not able to attract many visitors.  Although for the Hanuman 3-d laser projection show, held thrice in the evening, there is a crowd.    The temple is located on the outskirts of the Vizianagaram town. The temple is in the shape of a bow.  At the two ends of each bow, there are 2 temples, one for Ram-Lakshman-Sita and one for Vishnu.  Between the temples, shaped in the two bows, there are two galleries depicting Ramayana.  A total of 72 laminated moldings depict the entire Ramayana. 1 WhatsAppa Mantras

We all are aware of what WhatsApp is and use it almost on an hourly basis now.  These are some of MY mantras that I follow while using WhatsApp.  You might be following some of these on your own without realizing the same!!  In case you have identified more, please feel free to use the comments section to tell me.  Maybe I can publish an updated Mantras List later!!  Fix a fixed time for checking WhatsApp messages and replying to them.   Other times, just switch off the notifications so that you don’t unnecessarily check your phone for new messages.   Most of the times it would have been the same forward that you got 2 days back!!   Please remember, in case of any emergency, the contact would have called you and not have sent a message JJ Forward only those messages that bring some emotion to you – happiness, heart-whelming or something that makes you proud.   No need to forward just because someone else forwarded to you and you want to make others too suffer JJ .   And please
